Who we are
School Apologetics exist to equip students to go out and be a part of fulfilling the Great Commission.
Our ultimate goal is to worship God, and to glorify His name by spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.
"We love because he first loved us." - 1 John 4:19
What we believe
About God
We believe in the triune God: One God in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus, the Son, is God. The Father is God. The Holy Spirit is God.
About His resurrection
We believe that Jesus died on Good Friday and rose again on the third day.
About our calling as Christians
We believe that every Christian has a calling of going out there and spreading the gospel.
About same sex marriage
We believe that marriage was created for male and female.
About salvation
Salvation comes only by God’s grace through faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross. While there will be some who profess Christ without truly belonging to Him, those whose faith is genuine are kept by God and their salvation is secure forever.
About sin
God created the world good, without sin or corruption. Sin did not exist in humanity until the fall, when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and separate themselves from Him. Through that choice, sin and death entered the world.
Jesus came to conquer what the fall unleashed. By dying on the cross and rising again, He defeated death. This doesn’t mean believers never sin, but it means sin no longer has the final word. When we put our faith in Him, we receive the salvation He accomplished.
God’s will for believers is holiness. Through the indwelling Holy Spirit, we put to death the deeds of the flesh and grow in obedience. When God’s children sin, the Father lovingly disciplines them, and His kindness leads them to repentance.
Though the wages of sin is death, Jesus has conquered death, and all who truly follow Him receive the free gift of eternal life.
