Week 8 - Why Do We Need a Savior?

Why Do We Need a Savior?

We often ask, “Am I good enough?”  We seek validation from the world, people, or achievements, but these always fail, leaving us broken and hopeless. Only God can answer this need.

Sin corrupts everything we do, and our efforts alone cannot make us pure. Jesus came for those who know they are lost and broken, offering cleansing, healing, and true hope through His death and resurrection. We cannot save ourselves, but He can refine our hearts and motives, making us new.

Evangelism is sharing this message: everyone is in need of Christ. We are called to proclaim the gospel boldly; We must speak truth, show love, and point others to Him, trusting that Jesus will transform lives.

Read these Bible passages:

Romans 5

Luke 5:31-32

1 John 1:8-10

Ecclesiastes 7:20

Questions:

How good do you need to be to get into Heaven?

Who did Jesus come to save?

Why should we tell others that they need Jesus?

Who does the saving when we evangelize?  Why is that important to know?

What in your life has Christ transformed?

What do you need Jesus to heal inside of you right now?
